His vocal skills have continuously improved through hard work, and he has gained recognition for his powerful solo songs even from international media outlets in the US and UK.

Visuals

Jin is known as the "official visual" of BTS, often praised for his handsome and classic urban look. He is considered a natural beauty and is known for having a movie-star-like aura rather than a typical idol look. Within BTS, he has been ranked as the most handsome member and is often recognized for his youthful appearance.

Jin has been ranked as the "World’s Most Handsome Man" multiple times in international beauty analyses and surveys. Some notable achievements include:

  • 2018: Ranked #1 in "Scientifically Most Handsome Asian Male" by foreign plastic surgeons
  • Czech doll designers selected him as the "World’s Most Sculpted Face"
  • Dutch visual artist team named him "The Most Perfect Male Face in the World"
  • Studies found that his face ratio closely resembles that of Zeus’ bust from Greek mythology

His global beauty recognition has earned him various nicknames, such as "Car Door Guy" (for his stunning appearance stepping out of a car), "Third Member from the Left", and "Vest Guy". He was even chosen as the most handsome BTS member in New York street interviews, further cementing his international reputation.

Jin takes pride in his visuals and has jokingly said in official appearances, "I’m in charge of BTS’s handsomeness." His signature "flying kiss" performances are also famous. On variety shows like "Law of the Jungle," his natural charm stood out.

SM Entertainment once scouted him, but he ultimately joined BigHit after initially dreaming of becoming an actor.

Jin is often praised for his versatile style, with black and blonde hair being his most iconic looks. His clear skin and natural beauty make him stand out even without makeup, as seen in airport photos and TV appearances.

Additionally, Jin is known as "Broad-Shouldered Guy" due to his exceptionally wide shoulders, which are estimated to be 56–57 cm wide. His strong physique and athleticism allow him to excel in various sports, and he also has a great sense of humor and hosting skills.

Dance

During his debut days, Jin’s awkward dancing earned him the nickname "Awkward Jin", but through consistent effort, he significantly improved by 2016. He proved his growth by taking center stage in performances of "Blood Sweat & Tears," "FAKE LOVE," and "IDOL."

While preparing for "DNA," Jin practiced 8–10 hours a day, showing his dedication. He also mastered difficult choreography for "ON" and "Black Swan." At the 2020 MAMA Awards, he successfully performed the dance break for "ON" in place of Suga.

Jin also showcased his creativity by choreographing the "Spine Breaker" dance, proving his dance directing skills. In recent BTS practice videos, he has performed alongside BTS’s main dancers, showing significant improvement.

  • Height: 174 cm
  • Blood Type: O
  • Shoe Size: 270 mm
  • Education: Graduated from Global Cyber University

Position – Rap

As a member of BTS’s rap line, Suga is known for his deep, powerful voice and sharp rap delivery. He skillfully incorporates profound and emotional lyrics into his music.

His flow has evolved over the years—while he initially used scratch vocal techniques frequently, he has recently toned it down and adopted a smoother and more natural rap style. His versatility is evident in "SUGA’s Interlude" and "Girl Of My Dreams," where he introduced fresh rap flows.

He has grown into a well-rounded rapper, balancing his idol and artist identities through diverse collaborations.

Producing

Suga is an outstanding producer, recognized for his work within BTS and for other artists. He has been creating music since elementary school, producing a song every day as a trainee.

His songwriting process involves creating the beat first before adding melody and lyrics. Over the years, he has worked on BTS tracks like "JUMP," "Autumn Leaves," and "Dope", as well as his own Agust D mixtapes.

Suga has also collaborated with Epik High, Heize, and PSY, and even arranged Samsung’s iconic "Over the Horizon" ringtone in 2022.

Visuals

Suga’s charm lies in his adorable "mouth cave" smile, habit of biting his lips, and playful expressions. Though his rap style is intense, his round features give him a soft and friendly look.

His pale complexion allows him to pull off various hair colors, earning him the nickname "Personal Color Destroyer". However, frequent bleaching has led to concerns about his scalp health.

His distinctive triangular eyes have led fans to compare him to Pokémon Metamon (Ditto) and Kakao Friends’ Apeach. His BT21 character, Shooky, was also designed based on his features.

Despite his lean build, he has broad shoulders, making his outfits look especially stylish. Japanese fans often compare him to actor Matsuda Ryuhei.

RM

Basic Information

Kim Namjoon, born on September 12, 1994, is a South Korean artist from Ilsan, Gyeonggi Province.

He is 181 cm tall, has blood type A, and wears a shoe size of 280 mm.

He graduated from Global Cyber University.

Position: Leader

RM was the first BTS member to be introduced. After the departure of the Daenamhyup members, he naturally took on the role of leader. He played a crucial role in forming the team and, despite his young age, has shown maturity and eloquence, leaving many memorable quotes and touching acceptance speeches. His deep voice and charismatic presence in music videos sometimes make him appear older, but he also displays a playful and youthful side.

Particularly in American Hustle Life, RM revealed a pure and childlike personality that fans found endearing. This contrast in his character has made him both a reliable leader and an approachable figure.

Rap

RM started rapping under the influence of East Coast hip-hop artists such as Nas, Eminem, DMX, JAY-Z, Kanye West, and J. Cole. As BTS’s main rapper and musical core, he contributes significantly to shaping the message of their songs beyond just rapping assigned parts. While he excels in singing-rap and has decent vocal skills, his naturally weak throat and limited vocal range pose some challenges.

He is known for his exceptional lyricism, often incorporating philosophical themes and introspective thoughts into his writing. His use of metaphors, wordplay, and seamless blending of Korean and English in rhyme schemes sets him apart. His strengths lie in emotionally expressive rap with a deep, melodic tone, though some listeners have mixed opinions about his accent-based flow and diction.

Through mixtapes and collaborations, RM has consistently expressed his identity as a rapper, working with both domestic and international artists. Although he faced prejudice in the Korean hip-hop scene in the past, his musical growth has been widely recognized. He has received praise from critics and fellow rappers alike, playing a significant role in BTS’s global success.

RM excels in conveying emotions and controlling dynamics in his rap, adapting well to various beats. Although he does not play instruments, he writes lyrics based on key concepts and often finds inspiration in everyday moments, such as while on a bus, in the bath, or in bed (3B method). His continuous growth as an artist has solidified his skills in rap, songwriting, and emotional expression.

Visuals

RM has inner double eyelids that almost appear monolid, with long, horizontally shaped eyes. When he smiles, his crescent-shaped eyes and deep dimples create a warm and kind impression. Many say he looks even more striking in person, as his on-screen appearance can sometimes seem cold, whereas in reality, he gives off a masculine and charismatic aura.

His tall stature and model-like proportions make him stand out, and he effortlessly pulls off various hair colors and styles. At 181 cm, he is the tallest BTS member, and his long legs make him particularly noticeable in group photos.
